Change of Registered Office


The Registered Office of a Company maybe changed for various reasons. Registered Office is basically the main office of the Company wherein all communications from the Governmental Departments are sent and hence it is important to notify the address change to RoC. But, before this notification a certain procedure is to be followed. A change within the limits of the town/city by giving a notice to the registrar. A resolution is to be passed if the change is to different town/city and the registrar is to be notified. In case of changing to a different state, after passing the resolution an advertisement should be published in newspaper before notifying the registrar.
